Michael Rohrbaugh ‘s THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN was released in 2010, but I was happy to find it among the shorts now being featured on Here TV. While the plotting is pretty standard for a “poor boy does what it takes to marry a beautiful rich women’’ kinda thing, the film looks good, and the cast, particularly Luis Selgas, is creepy in a perfectly period way.
Written and directed by Matthew Puccini, DIRTY is a charming short featuring new boys in the early stages of love. Morgan Sullivan and Manny Dunn are delightful, and when things don’t go exactly as hoped during their first time, well …. As Frank Sinatra would sing…. ‘That’s Life!”
